Thanks for the up and up about the radio GMoney. I may buy an "empty" fender and do it myself. But I don't know what the eff I'm doing.

I feel ya on this paint issue. I don't see why paint cost so much for my bike and I only have 5 pieces. 2 Fenders, 2 Side Covers, and the tank. I got my whole car painted for $800 and it was a top notch job. I was thinking about $300 - $500 for a solid color for my bike. All the painter could say was he is average with the going rate. [>:]

Maybe I better look twice on JMJohn's set up

Manish, all bs aside, the eclispe radio is garbage!!!!!Try adjusting the volume or skipping to next song on cd @ 80 mph!!With gloves on!!!![:'(]There both adjusted by turning a **** instead of push buttons.Which gives the stereo abull chit rateing of 10!!!!
I plan on adding a flip out head unit with touch screen and navigation to replace the unit.
Manish:

I agree with G Money, the Eclipse contols are a P.I.A. I am planning on pulling my Eclipseout and replacing it with a Sony unit, the Biketronics contol module and adding Harley handlebar controls. Total cost about $600. I have an Ultra Classic also and those handlebar contols and automatic volume control are the best way to go. I don't know of any stereo that would be convenient to operateits controls on the fairing. One piece of information I did get out of Hoppe (after I bought my fairing) was that they would sell me fairing without the stereo. The speakers, antenna, wiring, and weather proof enclosure etc would be there; just the head unit gone. You would save money on the fairing and get your own preferrence of head unit.
