Longblock question
Have a 04 88 cu in road king. will have to replace motor. Has anyone bought the long block option from Harley Davidson? Did you like it or have any problems. how much to swap out motor if you went to dealer or independent. Will probably replace with the 88 cu in long block. Not really interested in going to 95 or 103. Bike had 83k when cam bearing disintergrated putting metal all through engine.

They don't get mentioned much in here. From what I've read you may have to have your engine removed and the replacement installed by a dealer, to get the warranty. You do however get back a fresh engine, with the latest available parts, with your engine ID stamped on it. It doesn't cost much more to get a larger version!

S&S has a 111t motor for touring bikes that I have been dreaming of. That is were I would be looking if I were in your shoes.
