Contrary to most, I like the stock seat (2015 FLHXS). But...last couple long rides I'm feeling like the seat is breaking down, or flimsy and my **** is not supported. I'm looking at a seat maybe a little more firm or support. Problem is you can't test ride too many after markets.
What aftermarket seat closely resembles stock, but maybe a little more firm or structure?
I DO NOT want to change riding positions...def not any further back.
Was looking at Le Pera, Corbin, C&C. I like to tour. I don't like Mustang seats at all.
One option, which would not change your riding position which you enjoy, is to cut out the foam in your seat to match a gel insert. If not, it probably won't be any worse. But the real way to go may be to have your seat redone by a professional. They should be able to work with you on your riding position and also improve your time in the saddle. Different foams make a world of difference. Good luck.
LePera is a great and reputable company. If you order direct, you can customize your seat. They also have a try-it program where you can try the seat and make any adjustments before they cover it.
