Default baffles

So I feel a little stupid asking, but it turns out I don't know as much as I thought I did about baffles. I have Freedom 4" slip ons, and just decated the heads and am thinking I might keep an eye open for a set of quieter baffles, as I do a fair bit of touring and don't want the bike screaming loud. I figure a set of 2" baffles should be about right? So what are the pros and cons about buying brand name baffles vs. generic, and if buying something other then Freedom ones, how do I tell if they will fit? Any help or advice would be great. I've swapped out a few sets of baffles before, but for that set I just ordered a matching set for the pipes. Maybe that's what I should do this time too, but the freedom ones are $$$, I only want to spend $$, and the Canadian dollar is the $hits right now, lol.
