Well I got them installed and I'm overall happy with them. Wish they were a little louder (not as loud as the MGS loud baffle slip ons), but that might come with time with the stainless looking baffle packing. Not sure if I can remove the baffle to remove some of the packing to try it out, but gonna leave them as is for now. Too late here in Michigan to video something in my driveway so that will have to wait till tomorrow. Nice sounding lope on the Rushmore bike at 900 rpms and nice deep sound. I can tell video won't do them justice. They fill the space better with the saddlebag extensions well.
Got to listen to some DnTs on a power dual head pipe tonight, happy I didn't go that route. Not the same sound as CFR, but similar and not for me. Now to find someone I trust with my bike so I can hear what it sounds like taking off and going down the road.....

I'm on the other end of the spectrum, and didn't want to go too loud. That said, about 200mi on these and I'm sold.
Glad they fit well for ya! Ride a bit and see how they fair out. I had a buddy ride mine, sounds sick!
anyone here having scraping issues? my bike is pretty tall, but i'd hate to damper the lean angle. also, RCX vs V&H 450's, thoughts?
I've had CFR's , Big Louie's, MGS, V&H Hi-Outputs and 450s, and now the RCX 4.5s. Granted I have a floor board relocation kit from tall boy cycles and I have them extended out an inch; my floorboards scrape before the muffler's come close as far as I know. Only time I've scraped an end cap is leaving a driveway that had a good slope to it.

perfect guy to answer. i also have 1" floorboard extensions. my drive way is pretty steep though, so maybe if i'm really careful i'll be fine.
Cell phone videos just don't show the deep sound these have. I haven't really noticed much difference going from the 4" MGS to the 4.5" RCX.
sounds good even for cell phone. i have the rcx 4" pipes and they're decent, but i don't like the black/chrome tip. (previous owner had them on) still shopping, but the 4.5" is looking like a great option
