You've had a hellified collection of slip ons! Give a comparison to the V&H OS 450s, to the RCX 4.5", as those were a close second in my purchase.
The 450s are deeper and quieter. With the baffle wrap out the 450s are comparable in sound and loudness, but they fall on their face without the wrap due to the loss of back pressure. With the wrap in the 450s I think they are a great touring muffler. I was surprised how well they retained low end tourqe with my true dual setup and would recommend them to someone doing long miles or someone that doesn't want fatigue from loud pipes.

so you're saying without the packing the 450's are equal to the RXC with packing in terms of sound? how was the low end with the RXC? i want to sound cool but if it doesn't go, then that's a no.

I wouldn't say apples to apples, but close. To give you an idea here are some samples of my bike with different slip ons, same header.
Going from the Hi-Outputs to MGS I felt a slight seat of the pants increase in tourqe. From MGS to RCX i haven't really noticed any loss. I am still running auto tune so I don't want to give a complete answer on that one.
thanks for all the videos. they all sound great. i recorded my rcx 4" today to see if i what they sound like off the bike. i'm not disappointed with them, just don't like the black pipes on my bike.
Got a couple hours of auto tune now and the bike is running and sounding stronger. Gonna do a couple more hours and report back.
Thanks for the update bro. One question, I was previously getting some old car exhaust smell when I first installed my catless header on the 4" RCX...yet was able to almost auto-tune it out. The smell has returned with the install of the 4.5" RCX. No auto-tune yet. Do you get that old car exhaust smell? Like it makes my shirt stink when I get done riding.

Can't say I've ever noticed it if I had or hadn't had it. I've had some left over WD-40 burn off from getting stubborn mufflers off, but not like your describing.
