My first one used a sliding dowel rod, the pipe is easier to see, especially if you are doing this by yourself. Works well when bike front wheel is in a chock and rider/riders are mounted in attack mode, bike loaded too!

That thing looks great! I've been thinking about how to do make a tool like that myself. If the MOCO paints it black and slaps an H-D logo on it they could charge $60!

My sag checker when setting up solo is Mrs B and when doing it for the two of us is Mrs B, hanging off the side of the bike! It can get hilarious during the process, but works!
