Do you wrench on your bike? If you do your own work it would probably be cheaper to buy a regular Glide and put your own goodies on of your taste/choosing
If you don't work on your bike then it might be cheaper to buy this bike cause you'll probably save more time and $$$ than from paying them labor fees etc to install all your stuff on a different bike
This is a brand new bike. They take them and customize them and call the Barnes customs. I have the paperwork for all the stuff that has been done and it totalled 6730 plus tax. I tried to post a pic of the list of stuff that has been done but it said that it needed to be approved? The other thing that I forgot to mention was they said that i would get 20% back in store credit ($1350) on all the work that they have done. I have priced out a standard sgs and it would be $31000 otd. So it seems like a decent deal but they are not really budging on the price at all. From what I have seen there usually is not much negotiating with Harley?
The price still seems too high for me. Also, you have to realize, most of that "$6,730" is probably labor they charged to put pieces on the bike that you may or may not like. If you love it and can afford it, do it. If not, buy a stoke one and make it your own, putting exactly what you want on it and nothing more.
Thanks for the input guys. I think I will look around a little more and see what some other dealers have to offer. I am now considering a stock sgs and doing all the work myself.
buy it. You will save money in the long run since the dealer made all the mods and you have someone to yell at if there is a prob. Good luck and have fun with her

Good move on looking. That price is MSRP on everything. If you get an SGS and add accessories at time of purchase, most dealers will have the bike warranty on those parts.
we only get 75 cents on the dollar with our exchange rate being so low. The more I think about it the more I am thinking that I am really not getting a deal with the bike. There are absolutely no discounts at all on all he add ins so I am just going to look for the best deal on a stock and get them to put what I want on it.
