I sure hope this idiot that got banned was not a representative of HPI. Great customer perception if he was, and if he wasn't, I'm sure HPI's lawyers would like to speak to him about his screen name. Nice work A-hole.
No this is not the case,,,,,,,,,,,,,This guy has nothing to do with HPI.I think it's in HP INC's best interest to put this to bed, should he desire to push the envelope I'll be more than glad to open it for him.
well after runnin the snot out of it all morning...i must say the stock TB picked up the low end considerably and showed no noticeable loss on the top in any gear...its manners were exactly what i have been wanting from the start....after 3 tuning runs so far its dead on...i see NO need for a big honkin aftermarket TB...i really dont think a SE 50 is needed, nor any modification to the stocker
Does the DTT tune its self for the best fuel air ratiomixfor seat of the pants pleasure or can you tune it for economy also? Because right now my gas mileage is sucking and I am thinking the tuner didn't hear me when I told him I wanted an econo tune in the 2700 to 3000 rpm range on my PC III.
Glad it worked out Bryan. I had no idea a stock TB could flow enough for those heads/cams. That's great news that will save me money. Thank you.
Hey Phil - I saw a couple of stock Delphi TB's for sale over on HTT's swap meet the other day. They were pretty cheap. Can't remember if you still had one or you sold yours.
PhilM: When Kevin (Pirateye) did his HQ 95" build with HQ-0039 cams, 10.5:1 Weisco pistons, etc., he sent his stock TB from his '06 EG Classic to Doug thinking it needed to be machined--Doug sent it back to him, unmodified, and told him to use it as is. So when Iread your posts about the aftermarket TB you were using I was surprised since your build is so similar to Kevin's. So, now I know Doug told you the same thing he told Kevin.
BryanTTM: Really, really glad to hear your bikeis now running well. It wouldhave been disappointing to make the trip from metro Atlanta out to Bloomfield, NM for theGreat Mini SW HDForum Rally next month to meet you and other Forum assets (pun intended) only to see you on a rental or borrowedbike. And I thought you were only kidding about using a sawzall as a Harley tool.
