Default Engine noise

Last day in Florida my bike development a ticking noise. Made it back to home base. Oil pressure was still good and bike wasnt lacking power. I guess the bike got tired of 6th gear and 3200 rpm.

Was going to start pulling stuff apart next week but figured maybe someone will have heard a similar sound in the past?

https://flic.kr/p/FR899S

Thx for any input or tips.

Bike is a 2010 with FM 107, 555 cams, jackpot 2 into 1 exhaust.

Small exhaust leaks can sound like a tick as well. If you use a folded rag to protect your hand, you can cover the exhaust with the bike idling, and if you have an exhaust leak you'll hear it straight away

Sounds like a loose fastener to me. Check exhaust. Also check air cleaner. Hopefully something simple.

I thought I had a bad lifter, turned out to be the rear exhaust flange. Both the nuts were gone. Take a look see.
