Default Front Fender

So this is a two fold question:

I just bought the Klockwerks Benchmark fender to go with my new 19" wheels. The back of the fender is only a few inches off the ground. How worried should I be about hitting stuff with the fender?

2nd question is that I am torn between the look of the stock fender and the benchmark. The benchmark is a bit bigger than the stock and it doesn't seem to be as close to the wheel as stock. What I don't like about the stock is the fender tip light and the rivets, but it shows off the wheel better. What do you think looks better on the bike?

I personally like the shape of the stock fender better. Remove all the extras, weld up the rivets and I think it would look awesome.

Is it possible you bought the 21" Benchmark fender and your Agitator wheel is 19"? the fender looks good to me, I'm thinking it was just intended for a bigger wheel. That would also get the rear lip off the ground.

The advertisement said it was for a 16/18/19. It just seems awfully big.

I would try flipping i around, (But probably won't fit/work)The front has that straight line from fork to tip just like stock fender but the rear has a nice smooth curve that would look better on top in front, If that makes any sense. Seems like they should cut/curve the top to match the bottom for a more stylish look. Still like it better than stock one. JMO.

So I think the fender is growing on me. I love the clean appearance of the fender without all the doodads, emblems, and rivets. May just give this a go for this season and see how it goes. I'm guessing once I go for a custom paint job for the whole bike the fender will be really nice.

Just took the bike out and found the roughest roads I could find. Not once did the fender touch the ground. I think I'm good with the height.

The fendr moves in unison with the wheel, so unless it where a speed bump. Or a deep pothole you should be all set

That's exactly what I was concerned with. So I took it over some speed bumps and driveways with no issues. I guess it is still close enough to the wheel to allow clearance.
