Default Legend Axeo - Spring Retainer missing or not?

Hi, just received a set of legend axeo standard for the 41mm front end on my 2013. They do not have the spring retainer shown in their advertizing and video. They part I am referring to is the tube below the dampening cartridge that keeps the spring straight when compressed. I have an email into their support but they are out of office until Monday. Hoping to install them this weekend. Can anyone who has a set confirm if they are missing the part or not?

The ones I installed this winter looked just like yours. I figured that it was an updated setup.

Thanks, I guess it is not required for the smaller forks. They should update the product photo to reflect this as it does cause confusion. Here is a pic of the product for the pre-2014 model that shows the piece that is most likely only used for the newer models.

Just to bring closure to this thread and clarify for anyone else that may have the same question. I received the following response from Legends Customer Service. I must say that I am very happy with the quality of the product and looks like they provide great customer support. I will post a review once they are installed and I get a few miles on them.

Thank you for your inquiry and your patronage of Legend Suspensions. Your
question concerning the spring retainer is a new one but I think the
component that you're asking about is the spring guide that is only used on
the 2014+ 49mm cartridges. 2013 and older bike with the 41mm forks do not
have these. Please see the attached picture to see if I'm translating this
as the right part. If it is, this component will not be installed on your
cartridges.

Please let me know and we'll go from there. I am going to put a note in for
our graphics and IT department to correct the pictures on our website as
well.

Very Respectfully,

Eric Flatmoe
Customer Service Dept.

I'm guessing it's thawed out enough to get some riding up there in Canada by now.

Are you feeling any love from your new Legends front forks?
