Default Daymaker Projector

Looking at replacing my 2011 SG headlight to get some more brightness. Im looking at the CD TrueBeam and the daymakers. I was browsing the HD website and they have a "new arrival" as one of their daymakers. The part number is 67700264. Looks like there is another light on the side, inside the light. Not sure if this was an attempt to get more coverage on the sides while being ridden or not, as I have heard that is an issue with this light. It also says in the Q&A that the change to the light was done to make it sold worldwide. If anyone has any info or reviews on this one please let me know. Previous part number is 67700244. I havent found any videos of the light on a bike yet

If you decide on one of the HD leds, go with the Day Maker Reflector $399.00 or less, stay away from the Day Maker Projector.

Read all the complaints about the Daymaker in the Rushmore section. I hate Mine!

just fyi, JW Speaker makes the Daymakers (projectors) both the older one and the newer version

here is a link to Amazon for the newer version for $289:

i'd get this one before i paid $500 for the H-D branded one.

the CD one looks good and i like their stuff a lot, but i think $439 is too expensive

If you're actually doing anywhere near a decent amount of night riding, so with the reflector. I have the Daymaker on my Wide Glide and I love it from a safety standpoint (other drivers being able to quickly spot the. Wet bright light....if they're paying attention anyways) and the lighting spread is excellent. The biggest downside is when I make turns the light is horribly slanted and you essentially can't see where you're going when in the turn.

The reflectors are still very bright and you'll have the benefit of being able to see a LOT more!

I just put a Daymaker-knockoff on my Street Glide. I hardly right at night and it's still very bright, but I may trade it for an HID/reflector setup.

Trucklight is less than the HD reflector, I believe they are the OEM and make the light for HD. But... the truck light phase 7 protrudes slightly further than the HD version so if you don't like that or don't want the look of the frenched trim ring the HD is a better fit.

Another option is to put the LED bulb instead of swapping out the light. The LED bulb is like 125 bucks. Not sure why this headlights are so damn expensive?

Long Ride Shields is selling them as well for a whole lot less than HD. Haven't used the headlights but like their windshields.

I would agree with this. The only complaint, like you said, is while going through a turn on a dark road at night. Other than that, they work well.
