Can anyone tell me if 98-05 Hogtunes speakers will fit in 07 street glide. The woman at Hogtunes was not to sure she said something about different ohms. Harley changed from4 ohms on 98-05to 2 ohms on 06-07 so they may not sound as good?????

the oem speakers in my 03 RG state 8 ohms on them and the hogtunes are 5.75 per the manual. What years had 4 ohms? Or does HD just use whatever they can get cheap.

'07 radio system uses 2ohm speakers (correct me if I'm wrong .... seems I've read this about 100x in the different speaker threads). I would think you would want, optimally, to get speakers running 2ohms... but I'm no audio "expert"

The '06 and '07 speakers are 2-ohm, as you've stated, but traditionally amps are multi-rated for different impedance, within limits. Lower ohm rating means less impedence (resistance) and will output more power. If the amp can take 4-ohm speakers, which I'm fairly sure it can, your output will be lower--and since the amp is marginal anyway I wouldn't do it.
