I read a post yesterday on saddlebags falling off after the fix had been done. Are many folks are still seeing the issue with bags coming loose? Wondering how many folks have just switched to bolting them down or some other solution other than the stock quick release?
Okee Dokee ... Mine is a 2009 FLHTCU and I've never had them fall off, nor have I ever found the pins loose. If you're interested in "updating" your's use a couple of "clip nuts" along with appropriate bolts and you'll be fine. No need to buy (expensive ) kits.
I have been working on a Road King Custom lately and it has the rear crash bar eliminator style saddlebag supports and compared to my bike with the regular type his sure moves a lot.
