Guys I installed an Andrews 48H and S&S adjustable pushrods. Along with a PC iii USB and a 2 into 1 head pipe made into a side dump from a 2012 with the baffles removed and the o2's plugged on a 2008 Harley street glide with a stock 96"
Here is my situation, iand I have been trying to work with Power commander on the issue but don't seem to be getting anywhere. The bike will not start with the commander installed. No matter what tune. Even the suggested map per the tech at power commander. That is with both the o2's installed or plugged. If I remove the programmer the bike fires right up and idles fine but has a dead spot at 2500 to 3000 rpms. I figure it needs a dyno run and tune but I've got a family and money is tight. So I just need it to work for now.
Do you guys have any suggestions
Thank you
Andrew
Great choice in cams. I had them in a past bike and love them. They are like a se255 down low, but never seem to run out. Anyways, on to your problem: There is always the chance that the pciii is a dud... If it is setup anything like a pcv, I can offer two suggestions. First is to make sure the timing is all set to 0's. You can adjust as needed later. Now for your fuel map, make sure that the first few vertical columns are set to 0's.
Does the pciii allow you to plug your laptop into it while it's on the bike? If so, make sure that the throttle position is showing correct readings. Maybe that was only a feature for the pcv... Other then that I'm not sure what to recommend. Best of luck to you!
I had a pc5 that was a dud and never allowed the bike to fire. I sent it back to DJ who said it was fine but gave me another one anyway. Plugged the new one up to make sure it worked, bike fired right up and I sold the unit the next day and got a power vision and havnt had a single issue

I remember having problems with mine the same time you did d.
Op your pc5 is the issue no map can cure your sickly circuit board.
I bought the commander off a friend, well a friend of a friend. It had worked fine when he took it off his bike but that was a while ago. I should probably just see if he will take it back. I've tried multiple maps with the o2's in and with the o2's capped with the terminators. All with no luck. It was a stretch just doing the modifying to the bike now I wish I didn't.
All I need was a compensator because it had started clunking. Should have done that and buttoned it back up. Now I got a good compensator on a bike that will not run correctly. Damn it
