OP, do you find that 23" takes away from rideability and stability?

Gotta agree with that...even with the 21" slow turns are a bit of a pain.I can only imagine what the 23" would be like..It looks great though but probably not as practical.

Yes, I have the Monroe air shocks out back, and no air on the front. I really wanted to do front air but decided not to at this time, so I am running the Pickard usa -1'' drop in springs in the front that they recommend with their 6 degree trees. They ride very nicely too!

I ran a 21'' with -2'' lowered in the front with monotubes and no noticeable difference in slow maneuvers.

I only have about 25 miles on it with the 23'' (and 6 degree trees and -1'' lowering springs) the front gets kicked out about 2''. I first have noticed a very slight heavier feeling in super slow turning, but that has now went away and it feels very normal at this point. So overall, not much of a difference.

I'm glad that its working out for you. As everyone stated, you have a beautiful bike. Its clear that you put a lot of detailed work into it.

I asked the question because a riding buddy also did the 23" and hated it because of it changing his rideability. Here in the Carolinas, we do a lot of narrow back road riding, along with rides through the mountains. While we haven't been to the mountains since he made the change, I noticed that he was not riding well on the back roads. His looks great with that 23" but its now more like a show bike instead of riding bike.

Well after putting 100 miles or so on, it seems to ride just as great as it was before!
