Default Tune tech rant

So last week i made an appointment for today to get my new to me Ultra tuned and requested a specific tech that has done all of my bikes in the past and i like his work,so fast forward i pick the Ultra up this afternoon pay the bill and drive it home, take a look at the paper work to see the run graph to see what the numbers are and i see that a different techs initials on the paper WTF what would you do complain or just suck it up??? BTW i waited a week to get it tuned just for the reason of getting my tech!!!

you question them- ask to speak with the tech you like, maybe he did the work and the other tech just did the tie downs

so get more info before ranting ( at them- I don't mind)

Are you happy with the tune and the way the bike runs now?
If so, why does it matter what tech did the tune?

I had the same picture in my mind.... but he was wearing diapers and had a rattle in one hand and a pacifier in the other........

Seriously though, I agree with him in principle. If the tune isn't right, I would take it back, insist the tech I waited for/scheduled does the tune, and I would make them get it right!

Interesting
1st mechanic tuner gets paid for time spent...4 hrs min.
2nd mechanic has to fix 1st mechanics incompatence..
Who picks up 2nd labor go round?
Dealer should but we know this ain't going to happen
His mechanic he asked for may get hosed and get the raw end of the deal...
