HD Profile Laced Wheel
I have a '04 Road King Classic that I had HD's profile laced wheels installed on when it was new. 11,000 + miles later (when getting the bike out of storage) I discovered that the rear wheel has split open about 8" long and at it's widest, about 1/2".
Had it towed to the local dealer, who contacted HD and they covered the wheel and a new tire, which was cool. I was told that I'm the only one to have this problem, however HD's new part is a stronger wheel, which HD had made because they foresaw a problem.
Anyone else have any issues with these wheels?
