Ive run amsoil 20-50 and formula + in the primary but the best shifting combo I found was royal purple 20-50 cycle oil in primary and redline heavy shockproof in the tranny, I kid you not it shifted and ran like butter!

I'll 2nd Cobrajet, register as a dealer and if you are lucky enough to live close to one of their distribution centers like we are here in the DFW area, you can drive over and pickup a couple of cases to save the shipping fees. I buy enough to change oil in the car, truck and bike. Keep in mind they have a 20-50 Motorcycle oil that shouldnt be confused with regular 20-50. The MC oil is supposed to be designed for air cooled engines.
