Yea i would definitly stay away from auto lifters now

Damn even though I ran the comp cams stuff for over 50K I guess I am glad I put S&S in the new one. Live and learn.

Are the stock ones THAT bad? Did they change them at a certain year, the ones in my 07 are the stock ones I left in when I installed 26G Andrews cams and SE adjustable rods at about 55000 miles and now at 91000 with stockers still in?

Putting the auto lifter aside,,,I was a bit surprised in the video, that the S&S lifters took 43 seconds of bike idling, for oil to start coming through !!!! Is that normal ??

I think that they went from the "B" to the current "C" lifter in 2011. That is when the problems all started.

I've heard of 850's taking a whole lot longer than that, like 2-3 minutes. But I have not used chevy lifters myself, only "b's" and s&s.
