This weekend I picked up a 2016 Road Glide Special and man do I love it. I have always been a Sportster fan because they are fun to ride like a dirt bike for the street; however, Sportsters may be to ride but my Road Glide is a pleasure to ride. Had I known what I was missing all I would have pulled the trigger and got one long ago.
One pic is picker her up at the dealership and the other is after I put on the backrests this morning.
Enjoy the new ride. Night and day from your last ride. Let the miles start adding up.
The thing I find funny is that I have averaged 10k miles per year on my Sportster. even with me having to stop every 85 miles for fuel and to let the blood flow to my butt. Now that I don't have those issues, I hoping to top those numbers fast.
Congratulations on the new ride and welcome to this side of the fence. I agree the touring bikes are a pleasure to ride. Although my King gets more saddle time, I've kept my Sporty as it's still a fun ride to take out now and then.
