I checked on getting my streetglide painted with ligth silver ghost flames on black and they wanted 2500.00, local harley outsource. That has to be way too much, how much should it cost for the fenders, saddlebags, side covers, faring, & tank in your opinion?
This guy (Scott) painted my Fat Boy 4-5 years ago for $1000. I sent him primed HD sheetmetal and he did the bodywork, painted the black base coat, flames and clearcoat. You can see the paint in my photo gallery. He can alo add a ghost flame over existing paint. I've been thinking of getting a silver/aluminum ghost flame on my black pearl SG.
Scott and Jody, Attitude Custom Painting did my current bike (See SigPhoto) and my last bike. >$2k for a RKC and >$3k for the ultra including all parts- lowers, trunk, bag, lids, side covers, fenders, tank and it included a little body work also. (I think he cut me a little deal on the Ultra as I was a repeat customer).
Anyway, quality is top notch, and I cant recommend them enough.
We have a guy here in NM, Danny Bally, says he can do what I want for $2500. His work looks really good, IMO. Now all I need is money. Still though, I love my black pearl paint job. Yes, it is plain, but oh so pretty. Maybe I should do engine mods first. What is the point of having a fast looking bike, if you can't beat the tires off of everyone first?
