Picked up the new RKC yesterday. Gotta give it back tomorrow to put the rest of the parts on but I did take delivery on the date we agreed on. I cant complain cause the threw in the premium spoke wheels at no charge just because they didnt have it completly done on the delivery date.Looks great and sounds great too. Dont see anything wrong with the stock exhaust myself. Now with any luck I can catch up on the sleep I missed worrying about whether or not it would be here on time.
Let the buying and buying begin. Sounds like you already started. Trouble is, it never ends. Always just one more thing to buy, then one more, and then one more.... You get the idea. Have fun. No STRESS... it's a Harley thing. NOW you understand!!
I have stressed EVERY minute since getting my Ultra a month ago....which pipes, which fuel management, Seat, AC, Windshield, Highway bars, Quick detach tour pack? What wax to use, bike lift, improving the speakers, actually use the cb?, it goes ON AND ON AND ON !!!!
Weclome to the obsessing party.
Dennis
Well, if you can figure a way to get her to clean the bike, let me know. My wife will not clean the bike, if I paid her. To be honest, I don't mind the cleaning, as long as I am left alone to do it, and can take as long as I want. I don't like to be hurried.
Stress, in my book, does not equal, OBSESSED. Am I obsessed? Yes I am. Am I stress about it... NO WAY. pfd161, to me, all those things you mentioned are the fun part. Next to riding the bike, looking for stuff for the bike, it is the next best thing. Have fun with it. I know I do. Just wish I had some more cash to enjoy myself even further.
