For my 08 Ultra, I am looking at converting the rear turn signals to Run/Stop/Turn as well as I would like to convert the tourpak lights as well.
I have seen Custom Dynamics stuff and it looks right but the info on their site is confusing as to what I actually need. I don't really want to convert to all LED now I just want to be able to convert the lights I have.
What do I actually need? Is there another easier way to do this? I am mechanically inclined. I am good with wiring and soldering. I do have a service manual. So tips for DIY are welcome as well.
Call Custom Dynamics. Most of their stuff is plug and play. I did all LED with the turn/run/stop as you describe. I had to install what they call a triple play unit. There's nothing complicated to it, just snap in.
My 07 ultra came with the Harley tail /run/turn converter already installed. To get the tour pak lights to work the same I just tapped into the harness, after the converter, under the seat and ran two wires to the tour pak lights.
Didn't take long and works well.
The harley converter comes with the red lenses for the turn signals since running solid amber lights on the back can be a no no.
I think it is called a triple play module, But remember once you have those on, you HAVE to change the REAR TURN SIGNAL LENSES red to be able to have the turn signal brakes to remain constantly on. It is illegal to have amber running lights
I would definitely call them, they have great customer service.

My bike had 69461-06 (the version available Nov. '06) installed soon after purchase by the original owner's dealer. The tail lights brighten for brake and flash for turns. The Tourpak lights brighten for brake but don't flash for turns. I've got all his paperwork, and there's no indication of 692000424 being purchased.
I have on my 08 RK and highly recommend the Biketronics Tailstopper module. You just plug it in and change the lenses on the turn signals to red. This module does not turn the turn signals into running lights. They only come on when you hit the brake. One light running and three lights for braking. Makes it very obvious that you hit the brake.
I had the HD module at one time that made the turn signals running lights and brake lights but I felt like there was not enough difference in the brightness of the running lights and when the brake lights came on. With the tailstopper module it's very obvious when the brakes are applied.
