New position
I think it looks better pushed forward a bit. My only question is could you ride that bike for 300 miles without all the blood running down out of your hands. lol... Looks Good!!!
Haven't gone 300 miles yet with them, but did 180 mi trip right after I had them on, and have no problem. I went for a ride today and the bars shifted again. Guess I am going to have to try that sand paper trick. When I adjusted them, I just repositioned them, and tighted it down and put on some loc tight. I will call the guy who installed them and find out why I am no bushing in them. Still not sure what the bushing are suppose to accomplish. Any thoughts on the bushings? Why doI need them, and will I have to remove the grips and hand controls to put them on? Wasn't hard to adjust, and didn't mind doing it, I am just wondering if the knuled section will become worn down in the long run. Maybe I should just run a couple of screws down the riser? Just gotta be careful to not hit the wires in the bars. Anything else I should try?
