New Tires
The front tread was 2/32" and the rear tread is even with the wear indicators, about 1/32".
Got the tires from American Motorcycle Tire for 313.00 with free shipping. Ordered Monday, they will be here today.

The Commanders I had on the 2012 Limited that I totaled had 14,000 on them and still had more tread than the 11,000 mile Dunlops have now, and the bike handled better with the 14,000 mile Michelins than the replacement bike with new Dunlops.
Bill
Handles so much better than the stock Dunlops.
The stock Dunlops were cupped after about 7k miles.
And it wasn't tire pressure, I check it every other week.
Don't know why HD sticks with Dunlop, they suck.

I replaced the horribly cupped & noisey as heck original dunlops that were on my my 09 FLHTCU when it had only 9,700 miles on it with Michelin C2's last yr and the C2's have proven to be a superior tire (Good handling & ride) compared to the original Dunlops.
At 9,700miles the rear dunlop would not pass insp anymore and front still passed insp but only had maybe 1,500-2k miles or so left in it before it would fail insp too, again both with only 9,700miles at the time.
I now have approx 9,500-10k miles on the C2's and they look like new compaired to what the Dunlops looked like at same mileage on same bike.
The front C2 looks very good @ approx 9,500-10k miles still having a lot of tread on it looking as though it may have another 9,500-10K+ miles to go in it.
The rear C2 also looks very good @ 9,500-10k miles having plenty of tread on it looking as though it may have approx 7,500-8k+ miles or so left in it.
BTW,i installed ride-on in both C2's to not only ensure they always stay in perfect balance theu their entire srv'c life which will extend their srv'c life in many cases too ,but Ride-on also protects/seals the tires from punctures up to a 1/4" should a tire pick up a nail or screw along the way.
So i highly rec you buy & install Ride-on ,its avail online from ride-on site, ebay etc.
For your farily heavy HD use the larger what Ride-on calls heavy duty dose.
I have used ride-on in with great results in 3 sets of motorcycle tires thus far, but be advised your better off installing the ride-on in the tires yourself to ensure proper amount/dose is actually installed in each tire which i learned the hared way!
Bottom line is the original dunlops that came on my bike can't hold a candle to the C2's because the dunlops were toast ,cupped ,noisey with terrible ride at approx 10k miles with 1 not passing insp anymore too Vs the C2's currently on my bike at same mileage are like new with plenty of tread life to go & riding smooth compaired to the dunlops that were toast on same bike at same mileage.
BTW,i bought the C2's online and had them installed @ local indy for little less $$$$ then my local HD shop wanted to install & balance a new set of inferior stock replacement Dunlops on my HD that would not last near as near as long cupping before they are worn out making for a noisey uncomfortable ride trying to see if you have enough patience to put up with it till they wear out.

LOL!!!!
I would not be surprised if it's because HD gets Dunlops cheaper then they could C2's if HD was to even bother checking with Michelin on bulk C2 pricing.
Same likely go's for the poor performing rear air shocks on some of HD's touring bikes vs other shock avail for HD touring bikes on the market these days too.
Same can be said for IPB,cam bearings, main trans shaft bearing, wheel bearings & more.
