Default anyone using jl audio speakers?
just looking for some decent options on speakers for a fairing I'm about to buy, heard that the JL Audio MX650'S where a decent option but I'm open to suggestions.

I love mine. They sound great, and play loud enough that I don't feel the need for an amp.

Running the JL C3-650 they sound awesome but they do need an amp.

I blew my co-ax set in fairing (replaced with polks)...but Jl component speakers in lowers still rocking. Running jl amp 400/4 with kenwood head unit. Very happy with set-up.

The MX650 will not work in the fairing... they are a top mount only! The only way to make them work is to remove the grill, which is also the tweeter. I have these speakers in my lower fairings, and I tried them in the fairing first. They will not work! Look at the Hertz Mille series... they are awesome!!
