Faring Speakers Only
Guys, tried looking though Audio maze but couldn't find answer.
Looking to replace stock fairing speakers only on 2014 SGS.
What brands and models do you recommend ?

"Fairing Speakers Only" as in speakers up front and nowhere else but willing to add an amp - plenty of options, what's your budget?

The hottest ticket on this site for an all around great sound has been the DD AW6.5s with they DD AT28 tweeter. I dont have personal experience with them but have been on this forum for a bit now and they seem to be a great all around set up. Just need some power to push them.

Thanks, I know Jack Squat about the Bikes Audio, except to put my ear to it..
I saw a post earlier (can't find it) that "just speakers" like JL audio 6 1/2 sounded great without an amp.u
Don't need that much sound, just better than stock.

I believe that was on Facebook, I could be wrong, but you're just doing yourself a disservice without adding an amp. There are some good options that'll power about anything you'll throw in your fairing that won't break the bank.

Trust me. As great as JL audio speakers sound. YOU DO NOT want them on your sled with no amp. Waste of time and money. Throw a $200 JL amp on em and call it good.
