I was talking to the tech at the Harley shop a few weeks back about which exhaust system is working best for the 2016 Unlimited. He recommended RC concepts and that I should stay away from V&H as they rub on the transmission and break pedal. Does anyone have any input on this? I really like the sound and look of the V&H and the reputation. Thanks in advance for any help.
Installed myself V&H true duals on my 14 SGS with no issues at all. I have put on a few pipes over the years and found the VH to be one of the easiest when installed properly.
Not sure what your tech is talking about especially with brake pedal rub. The heat shield is cutaway in the area of the brake pedal lever to allow plenty of clearance there. Unless something has changed on the 2016 setup, I could be wrong.

I have the Dresser Duals and love them. Don't know if I lost any torque but they run MUCH cooler than stock headers and the OS 450's on the end of them produce an amazing sound. That said, tight now, I can barely get a piece of paper between the heat shields where the pipes meet on the right side. I'm a little concerned they will rub from vibration. I'm planning on loosening everything up and seeing if I can lower the front or raise the back pipe a little to give them a little more separation. Other than that, I can't say anything bad about them. The chrome heat shields are thick and finished flawlessly. Everything fit together perfectly and it was easy to balance the OS 450's.
I have them on my 11 RGU and no rubbing at all, plus they gave me more low end torque than the stock pipes. The also sound much better and run cooler than stock.
