Default Headlight housing

Okay so i took headlight and everything out of front fairing to get painted. cannot remember for the life of me how to get it all back together. its taken all the way down to the metal bracket that is made into the fairing. if anyone has a how to or pictures on how to get it back in that would be awesome. also best headlight to go with?

Hard to help you without knowing what type of bike you have. I would suggest you get a service manual.

A Service Manual has enough pictures in it to get the job done.

Best headlight is kinda subjective. LED is probably going to give you the most light but some don't like the light patern. They're also pricey.
I upgraded my 07 ultra to the dual halogen and it's fine until I'm ready to spend a butt load of money on a full LED conversion.

Sorry been reading the forums for long time but just became member pirst post. it is a 2006 street glide. i own a service manual and there is steps in removing bulb but nothing on replacing the housing and everything else. ive got it down the the bare ring that goes in the outer fairing. next step would be putting the tension springs in i think.

I always try to use my camera on my phone when I'm taking something apart on my bike. That way I've always got a backup to revert to when things aren't going as they should.
