I am aware of the FOBO option, this thread is not about them!
I want to add the CVO TPMS to my bike (2016 FLTRXS). I have been told the sensors will not fit any other wheels other than the CVO wheels. Lets just assume that is the case and I would have to change to CVO wheels. Auto TPMS have adapters that allow installation into aftermarket wheels and I think this could be overcome.
The part numbers of both radios is the same. The flash 1.19.0/1.19.1/1.19.2 is different for the CVOs? I wonder if part of that flash has to do with reading the sensors?
There is no part number for a receiver, just the wheel sensors, blue tooth maybe?
If anyone has any information on this system I (and probably others) would appreciate it.
Also if anyone has a picture of the inside of a CVO wheel with the sensor installed I would appreciate it. A close op of the sensor would also be nice.
On CVO models you can also see the front (FR) and rear (RR) pressure as additional options within the toggle menu (button on left handle bar, trip, reserve...)

Just saying...
Thank you

Is that the only way to see the tire pressure or does it also show up under information on the radio like oil pressure and air temperature?
I'm no expert but when I ordered my fatty front tire kit I asked specifically about the ABS and RDRS and was told there would not be an issue. Now that might be because the new tire diameter is very close to the old, I don't know for sure and I probably won't have it installed for a few weeks to know for sure.
I also have read that Fuel Moto can tune for the back tire with their PV product. I don't know how all of that works but as helpful as FM seems to be on this board, I would ask them for advice.
Do a search, there's a thread where a couple guys have done it...
Had to buy the tire sensors, a particular new BCM, and have the dealer enable TPMS in the radio...
The thread is less than a year old I believe and had part numbers and prices.
Also had a way to use the sensors with the non-CVO wheels.
Think this is it, post 12 I think is where it starts, but last few pages are more conclusive... there's another one some place that better but couldn't find it https://www.hdforums.com/forum/milwa...71-tpms-2.html
