I have a 95 Ultra with well over 225K miles on the ticker.
Be aware of frame rust in the area just below the swing-arm attachment point.
As for aftermarket parts; thru the years I modified the lighting, got rid of the Fuel injection (only came on the Ultra that year), and lots more.
Great riding bike and I just cant seem to part with it.
That is a good price even if it does need tires and bushings.
If you are mechanically inclined, get yourself a manual and go for it. It would be a great 1st Harley..
Well I got it. Like new. I was amazed. A little weathering on the forks near the tires. I do not know if I can clean it up. Frame is perfect shiney with tags. Some brand new OEM pipes in the box. No one knows what's on it for pipes but they sound nice. WW dunlops with a lot of tread, runs real nice. Paint and chrome is perfect. Radio works, all the lights etc. I will post some pics later this week. I was a little surprised by the vibes, but I guess that's the EVO. Do I need to lock tight anything?
Congratulations!
Let me reiterate, if those are the original tires, no matter how much tread is left, you would be wise to replace them. Tires older than 5 years are a crap shoot as to how well they will hold up to the heat and stresses of riding.
Good luck and enjoy!
Well done - looking forward to those pics. I agree about the tyres, do check their dates. Also consider changing all fluids, if you are unsure about when it was last serviced. The factory service manual (not a cheap aftermarket one) is a jolly good buy!
Congratulations!

Thanks I will date them for sure. They cannot be original as they would be cracked pretty bad by now (21 years). I will check.
Congrats on the new bike. Love my EVO. Check tire dates, swap the fluids, adjust the clutch. Check the wear on the brakes (possibly replace the fluid, DOT 5), Check/ lube neck bearings and fall away, and ride the snot outta her.
Here they are. She really drives nice. I had it in town to register it and someone stopped me and said its a really beautiful bike. I had no idea the radio is speed sensitive. The curves were just great tonight. You will see lots of bugs... Sorry.
She goes to an independent tomorrow to see if she is sound. I will get an estimate for some Wide Whites too. I think the tires are 2005.
