I just installed the modified map that Manny at Dynojet emailed to me. Backfire problem fixed. It appears that he increased the fuel at the zero throttle setting. It was so bad my wife refused to ride with me. The Vance & Hines Ovals sound great. By the way, the instructions from V&H said to torque muffler clamps to 12 pounds. This is not enough. I torqued them to 50 pounds.

That'll do it for sure with more fuel added!

Hey Zippo, are you saying that your bike is carbed?

If so, forget all the remap advice, and go get a re-jetting. (dealer should have done that with the new pipes)
Yeh, more fuel is needed, either way.

Yes it is carbed and they rejetted it and did a screaming eagle air kit! Hate to say it but wish I had bought a Victory Jackpot that just came out in yellow!

Did the dealer just rejet the carb without a dyno test? If so some dealers/techs kinda just take a stab based on pryor experience as to what size jet to use. To get it perfect, or as close to perfect as possible, a dyno test really should be done.
