Default Revolution performance crank work?

Anyone have a crank worked over by revolution performance? My shop uses them, it will run me about $600. The s&s is about $600 more but I'm thinking it will be worth it in the end. I'm pushing a 107 w/ 112hp/126 tq. Will the rev performance crank hold is the question? I don't have the extra cash laying around but I don't want to go in there twice. Darkhorse has too long of a wait for me.

Does the s&s have to be welded?

SnS does not need welding.. They started propluging the crank like Dark Horse does when they went to the 3 piece cranks a few years ago.. Is your current crank going wonko?

Yup, the crank needs some work. I haven't ridden it in awhile, missed my annual solo bike trip this year. She has been at the shop for over a month now. I have to decide today which route I'm going. The shop has cranks that have been worked over by revolution performance on the shelf ready. So I'm leaning that route. I'm not doing any more engine work even though he will be in the cases.

I was looking at Revolution's web site the other day - They stated that they had a .002 tolerance on there crank work - In my opinion that is too far out of true for quality work - should be < .001 - Eastcoast Jim

I had rev performance do a 110 crank. Came back, .0012, never had a problem. They do great work.

That would work for me, I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of smoothness if it's reliable and saves me some money. I figure it would still ride a bit smoother than stock. I have to go into the cases anyway. I decided to go with the rev performance worked over crank.

If I wasnt saving for a bigger house then I would do some more engine work, my wife won't okay anymore money without going for a new bike
