crank sensor

Hi All,
been doing some troubleshooting on a friends bike and need to replace the crank sensor (codes and testing tell me its gone).

i have tried to get he old one out whilst waiting for the new one to arrive from HD but cannot get it out.
Manual says just undo one screw, which i have done - it moves but won't come out.
Any ideas ?

I believe that there is just one 'O' ring in there giving you grief. It's gonna' get replaced so put a pair of channel lock pliers to it. It'll come out.
