Understand. I've a ~28" inseam myself. That and my adventurous riding habits had me finally install a reverse gear. Helpful that, though riding going backwards is not easy I've discovered.

Finally got everything installed, torqued down to specs and bags back on. Lowered an 1 inch. Went out for a ride to check clearance. No issues. Feet fully on the ground with a little more bend which felt a lot more stable. The ride actually felt better. In the next coming weeks should tell if it's a good purchase. It took a couple days to complete but that's because I had to get the torque wrench to the house but would have been done in roughly an hour.
