The thing that I notice about waving, is that when you have a crazy driving cager around you and you wave to another bike they realize your not alone. Sometimes they back off.

wave at any and all. metric riders seem to think we HD owners think we're too good to wave according to the feedback i get on metric forum. even had a few bicycles wave.

I ride a bicycle approximately 90 miles a week and get a laugh at the motorcycles that come at me and I give them the two finger peace type wave pointing to the ground. Helps pass the many hours in the skinny saddle.

I usually do the low towards the ground peace sign wave. funny thing the other day my wife was following me in her car to the dealership and asked when we got there what I kept pointing at.
