Default Saddle bag lids, new style

I'm wondering if I can adapt the newer style lids on my old 2010 bags? Are the lower portion of the bags all the same from 2009 and up?
Thanks

With enough creativity I suppose anything is possible... but , in a word no. From what I've read here and on other Forums though you can put the 2014 and later bags on your scooter and it doesn't require anything more than some some minor re-positioning of the hardware that the bags bolt to. Good Luck

Lids won't swap, the new bags are a different shape and a bit bigger than the old ones, but bags will swap, with a few mods. Several posts around HDF on this subject.

You have to reposition the front mounting bracket/hole forward by about 1/8" or a little more to get the new bags to fit.

The lower portion of the bags are the same from 1993-2013.
