yeah, that's the release lever. it isn't clamping onto the fender at all. i personally don't have one, i didn't know they existed when i bought my condor about 18 years ago. the condor is a great chock too, but i am short, 5'4'', so getting the bike out is a chore. usually involves a little help from the wife.

Condors are the best chocks I've ever used.

Without telling us what other chocks you have used, your statement does not offer any comparison.

Have you used a Wheel Dock?

but to answer your question, not for the past 10 years. Back then, I was looking for a heavy duty, easy to remove cradle chock for the trailer that you could just roll the bike into and be done with it. Also one that you could adjust for front wheel size in a second flat. I’ve hauled Harley’s all over gods creation with 2 of these in my enclosed trailer, never let me down even on rough roads and they still look new!

I originally had a little trouble getting my RK out of the Condor and ended moving the adjustable cradle back a notch. Doesn't grab the wheel as hard and makes getting out much easier. When I use it in the trailer I move it forward so it grabs more wheel for more stability

Had the HF wheel chock for my Sportster. Worked well for that bike. When I got the Street Glide, I tried using it and I had a difficult time backing the SG out of the rocker. Looked around and found the Wheel Dock and bought that. A bit expensive, but I could ride in and back out with no difficulties. I typically park in the Wheel Dock when I pull into the garage. Rarely do I use jiffy stand in garage. Great set up as far as I'm concerned.

Just bought a Wheel Dock. I was about to run to HF but thought I'd check the forum first and I'm glad I did. Watching the video of a guy rocking his bike back and forth and centering itself was enough for me to feel better about leaving mine in the chock un attended.

resurrecting a bit dated thread but have a RG Limited on order and have been researching a chock stand for servicing the bike and possibly mounting on my harbor freight lift table, happened across the Wheel Dock site and this looks like exactly what am looking for.

Thanks for the info, though I realize this is an older thread. I'll be in the market soon for one or two, since I'm planning on getting a toy-hauler to probably live in for a while.
