I just hauled this bike 1000 miles back from Michigan. The wheeldock is the best way to transport a heavy bike. This Victory hammer actually takes the same wheeldock as my RGU. I bought it for my RGU but was happy it fit the hammer too. Even on rough roads no worries about the bike.
The tie downs are to limit side to side rocking. No need to cinch down the suspension. Since the RGU is limited on ways to tie it down the wheeldock is a great way to transport.
the lever doesn't look any harder to reach than the jiffy stand. and you don't need to hit the lever with your foot while you're in the seat to remove your bike, only when you ride in.
I found a wheel dock the exact one I needed, barely used one on CL nearby for 175 bucks, they are very well built and am going to install in on my harbor freight lift with their quick removal transfer bar so can be removed in seconds.
