YES. I had a Early 07 (August) Build that had excess crankshaft runout that took out the oil pump. This has happened more than once if you read the CVO website. Harley immediately replaced the engine and clearly knew of the issue. I went on to put significant miles on the replacement with no problem and bought a new 07 RG which I have only put 1600 miles on and so far so good.
I was told that Harley had an assembly issues on an automated piece of equipment that assembles handles the crank bearing press and fit operation. I have not heard of any problems after the first builds on the 07
I will say though the bike is the ***** and I would (and have) bought another 07 without hesitation
