Default Driving light removal

Ever since I changed my handlebars, my RK driving lights have been giving me trouble - I assume it is related. Anyway about every three months they stop working. The dealer says it is a switch that comes loose, but what I don't understand is what causes the switch to loosen up. It pisses me off to no end, and I am thinking of ditchiing the lights altogether. I am not sure if that is a good idea, but how hard can it be to trouble shoot the problem by the dealer?

I have considered have the driving light wired to work all the time, but if there is an electrical issue I do not want to be without any lights.

Suggestions?

I would fix 'em and keep them on. My bike didn't come with them, I added them. The extra light is great. Makes you more visible, and seeing at night clearer. JMHO Ever think about switching the switches? lol. But seriously, use the acc switch to run the lights. Might be an easy fix for you.

Actually when it comes to ACTUALLY trouble shooting any kind of a problem
most dealers are either dumbea$$ess or too apathetic to do it right.
Throw a band-aid at it or the oft quoted "it's normal".
Most of them just wouldn't be able to cut it in an indy shop.
If their little scanner don't tell them whats wrong they're lost.

The factory tech just told me in writing, that they ran a scnner on my bike,
not running, and battery disconnected for three months thatthere were no codes stored in my ECM and because of that the bike was in perfect condition. I went HUUUHHHHHHHH????
Disconnect battery for longer thsn 15 minutes and all codes are supposedly cleared was my understanding.
