Young and energetic, Chicago to Estes Park, CO. about 1050miles. I slept well that night. Visited/toured with friends for a day. Then headed back home the following day, non stop.
Back in the day about 25 years ago rode from Toronto to Atlanta about 950 miles on a sport bike with a buddy, I wouldn’t do that on my ultra Ltd now, young and wanting to get to Boca Raton To party can be hard on a body, Why we didn’t fly for a couple hundred is beyond me.
Since this antique thread was revived I figured I'd throw in my longest, single-day ride too... 11 hours 20 minutes, from Costa Mesa, Ca to Salt Lake City, Utah; about 700 miles.
I borrowed an Airhawk inflatable seat pad for the journey and when I got off the bike it was like I hadn't even ridden.
BTW, this was just last year while I was old and fat.
May 19 2019 Farwell tx to Nashville. 1048miles on a Road King. Running fast and hard to beat a super cell. Running beyond cruise control for hours at a time. Man, I love that RK.

Reason: Clarity
My longest day was a BBG (Bun Burner Gold) when I was doing my 50CC (Coast to Coast in 50 Hours). I went from Jacksonville, FL to Van Horn, TX. 1520 Miles, 22ish hours.
I have almost 50K miles of certified IBA rides, so there may be something wrong with me...

I lied... I went back and looked. My longest day was 1540 miles.
It was also a BBG, my first. It was a route designed with a rip cord option with a 500 out-and back from the Quad Cities in IA to Mitchell, SD. If I felt good after that one, I had the other half as 250 mile out and back from the Quad Cities to Crawfordsville, IN. If I was tired or had issues, I could bail on the second half and still have a SS1000. I rode past my house after riding 1,000 miles and continued on to Crawfordsville and back. That one took just over 23 hours.
