Possible but the module install instructions say a flash is required and does not differentiate between bikes

Took the dealer less than 10 minutes and no charge

I am building a custom harness for my detachable tour pak with lights and am doing just this. The same mount used on the AM/FM antenna side can be used to get rid of the CB ground plane and terminal coax connector. I'll be running coax from the antenna mount to the motorola connector under the seat. Hopefully it will be a better setup.
