I've got a 95 Electraglide that I am slowly getting set up the way I want. My question......
Has anyone mounted fairing mirrors on a 95? I can find them for the 96 model which is a different fairing style but haven't seen any for the 95.
Will the ones for the 96 fairing work on a 95?
Just wondering before I spend the money and find out it won't work.
Thanks in advance
Mike
you should be able to mount them, the question is can you see past your elbows- some FLHX owners remove them ( check the classifieds) because they can't see
I helped a friend put some fairing mount mirrors on his 96 EG.
Was considering a set for my 97 until rode his. Not good positon for me and more vibs than my bar mounted ones. He mentioned he had made a bad decision. If not for the holes in the inner fairing he would put the OEM mirrors back on.
Not sure what to tell ya about your 95.
Might want to ck with some of folks on the EVO forum
When I bought my SG I was disappointed by my rear view with my fairing mirrors. Last week I installed a set of 12" bagger bars......Just got home from the dealership shopping for bar a mounted set, I'm not comfortable at all with how poorly I see behind me now.
