Default Klock Werks visit

I visited the Klock Werks tent while justriding around Myrtle Beachthis weekend. At first I was talking to thisdude "Otay" who was pretty cooland he must have liked something I said about whatever and stops and walks me over and introduced me toMr. Klock. So I got to meet Brian Klock and his soon to be significant other Laura (the worlds fastest biker babe). He and she talked to my wife, my group, and myself for hours while Brian and Joe Mielke installed aDouble Back header system on my bike.

First off they gave mea break on the parts, installed the headers for free right then and there (with a crowd no less), and shipped my old headers and hardware and some other stuff I bought to my home for FREE. While I was waiting he gives me his personal email address, cell phone and a kick as tour of all his products and tells me about a bunch of new stuff he's coming out with. He takes me over to several bikes and points out little stuff I can do myself and give me a few pointers etc. I'm nobody. He's treating me like I'm the president of his company. Really cool. You know I'm talking a lot to Brian and his crew and they're like dude you need to work sales for us.... I'm stoked. Well Brian didn't actually say that himself, but one of his boys did and of course it made me feel pretty good...

So then later, I get home and find a little dent in a heat shield, I email Brian and tell him "Hey I'm that guy that bought.." and he emails me RIGHT back, againhe meets like 500+ people a day and somehow remembered me. Again I'm stoked. He's got all my parts I could not carry and he's shipping out a replacement heat shield no cost no hassel. Again, they installed the system so they know nothing was damaged in shipping or whatever...he's just like yeah no problem LP.

Let me tell you... I wish all custom builders were like this crew. The entire crew was super cool and approachable.

Anyway heres the bike, headers, and Brian personally working on my bike...

For the record these headers sound Nasty! Real nice stuff....

lp

I liked thoseheaders the first time I ever saw them in the mag. They look real good on your bike too. Good to hear that his customer service is as described. Service after a sale is IMPERATIVE in my buying decision. Screw pi$$ing around with fad pipes with sucky customer service. Eventually we WILL have to call on the vendor to make something good and those with stinky attitudes will be glad to leavethe customerhanging.

Good choice.

That's great to hear they are a good group of people. I have been a fan of their stuff for several years.

Having my bike be Unique is something I have always tried to do. My RKC was pretty unique, yet very subtle. This one will be a little more in your face, but hopefully tasteful.

The tubs don't have any parts, but there is a mountain of cardboard boxes just out of the frame that will be getting addressed this week. Just waiting on a brake line and caliper and those wheels are going on.
