Hello guys I am wanting to replace my stock bars with a the Heritage style bars on my 2007 Roadking , only problem is I can not find the HD part Number .
Feel free to tilt the heritage bars fore or aft to fine tune for the comfort you need.
Level the controls when done.
As long as the bars clear everything lock to lock, you are good to go.
After a few long rides, you will know when it's right.
I replaced the stock bars with these on my 2009 RKC about four weeks ago. All I can say is wow. They are fantastic. Now I can lean back and relax while cruising. It also improved control of the bike especially in low speed maneuvers.
Some people complain that these bars hurt their wrists. I haven't had any problems at all. The longest ride I have done to date is about six hours and they were wonderful. I have them adjusted so they are tilted back almost as far as they will go. When I turn full lock I have about two inches between the bar and the speedometer.
I did not have to change any of the stock cables and the install was pretty easy and took about two hours taking my time.
This is a very good DYI for changing the bars -https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touring-models/687057-pictorial-installing-heritage-style-handlebars-on-a-2011-road-king.html
