Usually----you'll hear a rattle (s) or get some kind of warning when something is loose on your bike.
You may want to use a rubber mallet, gently "tapping" on engine /saddlebag rails, foot pegs, floorboards, etc., as a means of locating those already loose fasteners.
I have a '13 CVO Ultra with about 25,000 miles on it and on a recent trip I hear a strange noise as we exited the freeway. When I came to a complete stop I looked down and noticed that my horn (and horn cover) was hanging down on top on my inner primary with only one wire connected to it!
I have had the horn off previously, but I only removed and replaced the single chrome nut, NOT the two screws that fastens the horn to the horn bracket.
Both screw were missing so you may want to give yours a little "snugging" just to be safe.
You're close to a 5K service. Might be good to get that done as mentioned earlier. Other things get checked in addition to the nuts and bolts per your owner's manual. I had that done when I took a NC-CA trip with some buddies a couple years ago. My King was flawless the whole trip. However, I do check nuts and bolts when I wash the King.
