Shock Wire Disconnected?

well. I checked again last night and it was at 42.5. And I left it at 46 the day before. This is from just sitting in the garage with temperatures ranging from 55 -90 F.
I am going to carry my pump on my road trip. I took the razor blade idea and chopped the end again and then shoved it backed in to the union fitting. I pumped it up to 48. I'll check again to see if it makes any difference.
